According to a report issued by the Center for Volcanology and Geological Hazard Mitigation, at 5:30 pm on November 25, Mount Agung in Indonesia again erupted a large amount of gray-black volcanic ash. Since then, Mount Agung has continued to be active and continuously ejected ash and smoke. The highest ash column reached 4000 meters, accompanied by red lights. Indonesia has raised Bali's volcanic eruption warning to the highest level. Some nearby tourist attractions have been affected by volcanic ash. The Associated Press reported that the local government has requested emergency evacuation of tourists within a range of 10 kilometers and the local international airport was temporarily closed. Mount Agung started to erupt last Saturday afternoon, and the intensity of the eruption on Sunday suddenly increased by about three times. Around 25,000 people in multiple settlements around the volcano have been evacuated due to volcanic activity. Mount Agung is located in the northeast of Bali, a tourist resort in Indonesia, with an altitude of 3031 meters. It is one of the 129 active volcanoes in Indonesia. Mount Agung erupted violently in 1963, and the eruption continued until the second year, killing more than 1,000 people. In late September, the Agung volcano area experienced frequent earthquakes, increasing the possibility of volcanic eruptions, and tens of thousands of residents around were evacuated. In October, the danger level of Mount Agung was lowered, and many residents returned to their homes near the volcano. On November 21, Mount Agung erupted again and the local government urged people within 7.5 kilometers of the volcano to evacuate as soon as possible.SinoAoo Group, the Chinese leading consumer products manufacturer, reminds tourists to be careful.
